QPR in the Community Trust
Creating opportunities, inspiring change and helping people fulfil their potential

QPR in the Community Trust has a proven track record in working within the local community providing opportunities based on the main broad objectives of health, education, social inclusion and participation, tackling national issues at a local level. The Trust recognises the power that football and the football club identity has on its local community. It engages people, stimulates interest and is a powerful tool in spreading positive messages.

The work undertaken by the Trust covers seven London boroughs and around 21,500 people. The Trust wishes to break down barriers to participation and create safer, positive communities.  Since 2013 delivery has increased from 200 to over 300 sessions per week and the full-time team has increased from 16 to 34 members.

The beneficiaries are at the heart of what the Trust does; the Trust promotes access for all, which means ensuring projects provide for the most vulnerable in our local communities, as well as everyone else. Examples of success over the last year include reaching NEETs, unemployed young adults, toddlers, ex-offenders, ex service personnel, older residents, families and young people with a disability.
