Greenhouse Sports
Changing young lives through sport

Greenhouse Sports is a London charity helping to improve the life chances of young people living in disadvantaged areas through intensive sports coaching and mentoring. The London-based sport for development charity delivers high-quality sport programmes in schools across 16 boroughs that give young people the opportunity to develop transferable life skills and access valuable coaching and mentorship. Since 2002, over 40,000 young people have participated in Greenhouse Sports programmes.

Earlier this year, the charity opened their flagship state-of-the-arts sport community centre, The Greenhouse Centre. The centre is located in the Church Street ward of Westminster, where 78% of children live in income-deprived households and over half are on free school meals. The new Greenhouse Centre will provide a safe and welcoming space for young people from the local area and beyond to access the same high-quality coaching and mentoring on which the charity has built its success.
